I don't want it to click whenever i tap the touchpad.

go to start--%26gt;control panel (in classc mode)--%26gt;mouse

then click the "Device Settings" tab click on the touch pad device then click the settings button

highlight tapping that appears in the new window and uncheck enable tapping

You can disable, go to control panel, click on mouse and pointers, then click disable touch pad.
