All my folders (if I haven't changed it) are in details view. I want all of them to start in list view. I've gone to control panel%26gt;Folder Options%26gt;View Tab, but under folder views section the "apply to Folders" button is not lit up. Please help

Unless you make a change it will not update. Select a different folders option then the apply to all should be in play.
