Ive just recently bought a new computer just a few days old because my computer broke. My othere computer was Windows XP and this one is Vista and all the other programs I used to have in my other computer dont seem to work with Vista at all.
I dont want to have to buy all new programs and a new printer cuz it wont let me install the program to use the printer.
So it there a way to downgrade it back?

Just insert your Windows XP CD and start the install. (if it doesn麓t start go into the Bios-setup to make the CD-drive bootdevice nr.1.
Format the drive to get rid of Vista completely.
Continue the XP install.
For all the other answers: I sense a bit of despair here....don麓t go out and buy Vistacompatible-software!!!
Your PC is just as happy with XP. Just format the harddisk and install.

Im not sure dude, but vista does suck hey? I bought a vista and returned it right away for a xp model sony vaio. Im much happier now. Hopefully someone will now the answer to help you though, good luck!

No, I asked my cousin n he said no! But he ain't no computer wiz either but he does hav knowledge abt that kind o stuff..I had the same problem n now i might hav 2 buy new cds like new Microsoft Office cd--dat really suks! Yea, I'm pretty sure u can't!

why don't you just make a clean windows XP install
just remove windows Vista by formatting your C drive and install Windows XP by using it's CD
Windows Vista %26 Windows XP is totally different operating systems so converting directly form one to another might cause problems .

Run your old XP programs in compatibility mode in Vista.
I tried it and it messed my computer up! It's back to normal now because i had gotten it fixed!
